Managing Identities

 

Fix My Inbox is able to scan any email mailbox that uses the POP3 protocol. This generally includes email accounts at your ISP, and many other independent services. If you access your email using Microsoft® Outlook®, Microsoft Outlook Express, Pegasus Mail®, Eudora® or similar programs there is a very good chance that the service is compatible.

 

 

Each email account on your list will be scanned at the frequency you select. The status bar will advise you of the progress of the scan.

Adding e-mail accounts
To add an email account to your Identities list, click the Add button, and complete the relevant boxes in the Add Identities window. Click Save to save the entry.

Editing e-mail accounts
To edit an existing entry, click the Identity you want to change, then click the Edit button. You can then make any necessary changes. Click Save to save the entry.

Deleting e-mail accounts
If you no long want a particular Identity to be scanned, click it on the list to highlight it, then click the Remove button. You will be asked to confirm this action.
