Filter Level
The Filter Level page allows you to set the level of filtering that suits you best. The level you choose should be influenced by such things as the volume of spam that you receive, and the importance of your normal email.
Your Filter Level choices are:
- Basic filtering
- Enable Real-time filtering Real-time filtering allows for a greater chance of detecting an undesirable email. A number of organizations provide a list of Internet-searchable spam senders, that programs such as Fix My Inbox can search to help identify spam. Select this option to enable Fix My Inbox to check a Real-time Blackhole List (RBL) when scanning your email. When this option is selected, the "Realtime Blackhole List Filtering" section is enabled so you can record your preferred server.
- Click the Edit button to make changes to your preferred RBL server.
- Click the Test button to allow Fix My Inbox to check the connection to your preferred RBL server.
- Click Use Default to set the RBL server to its original value.
- Accept only Friends E-mails from any sender that is not on your Friends list will be deleted.
Uses in-built anti-spam technology in combination with any Friends and Blacklist items you have entered.
