Getting Started
The first thing you will notice when you run Fix My Inbox for the first time is the lack of complicated menus and unnecessary gizmo's.
There are four buttons on the main menu:
Home
A basic information page to get you started.
Monitor
A summary page to list the latest emails that have been classified by Fix My Inbox. From this page you can open the 'View All' window for the full list.
Settings
This is where you list all your email accounts that you want Fix My Inbox to scan. It is also where you can list any names, addresses or words that would help the program to identify any emails that are important to you. Other settings also allow you to fine tune how the program behaves.
Statistics
This page has some program usage statistics and some program registration information.
Help Menu
There is a Help menu in the top left hand corner of the screen. The following options are available on this menu:
- User Guide - Select this option to open the local copy of the User Guide.
- Run Scan Now - Select this option to immediately scan your email accounts for spam. The countdown to the normal periodic scan will then re-commence.
- Purchase Registration Key - Select this option to open the online purchase web site.
- Enter Registration Key - Select this option to open the "Add Registration Key" screen. This screen allows you to enter a Registration Key that you have purchased.
- Check for Updates on the web - Select this option to check the Fix My Inbox web site for program updates.
- About - Displays program version information.
